Frequently asked questions

Who is Jobventure, and What Do We Do?

Jobventure is your international lifestyle agency for jobs abroad. We don’t just connect you with an overseas employer—we provide a complete support package! That means we handle all the practicalities you’d typically need to figure out on your own. With us, everything is set up in advance, so you can fully embrace your new life abroad.

How Does the Application Process Work?
  1. Click “Apply” and fill out the contact form, attaching your resume.

  2. We’ll get in touch to share more details about the job and to get to know you better through a phone interview.

  3. Together, we’ll determine if you’re a good fit for the role. If so, we’ll forward your details to the employer abroad.

  4. The employer will then contact you to continue the hiring process.

We’ll be there every step of the way to answer your questions and provide support!

Can I Work Abroad with a Friend?

Absolutely! Both of you simply need to apply separately and mention that you’d like to work together. We’ll inform the employer, and in most cases, if you’re both accepted, you’ll be able to share this adventure side by side.

Is Your Service Free?

Yes, our guidance and job placement services are completely free for you! Even after you start your new job abroad, we’ll continue to support you without any charges.

Do I Need a Diploma or Specific Qualifications to Find a Job?

Not necessarily! Our website offers a variety of jobs—some require no formal education or experience, while others do require certain qualifications. In short, there’s a role for everyone!

What If My English Isn’t Great?

For most positions, advanced English isn’t required. As long as you have a basic understanding of English and can communicate effectively, you’re good to go!

Can I Stay Longer with My Employer Abroad?

Loving your new job, city, and lifestyle? If your employer is happy with your work, your contract can often be extended.

We’re here to make your international job journey smooth, exciting, and stress-free!

Do I Need to Book My Own Flight Tickets?

Most employers offer a relocation package to make your move as smooth as possible. This often includes your flight to your new destination, which the employer will book for you. In some cases, you might need to book your own tickets, but the costs will usually be reimbursed by the company.

Should I Arrange Accommodation Before Starting My New Job?

Many employers provide temporary housing (such as a company apartment or hotel) or permanent accommodation, which is included in your relocation package.

If it’s temporary, your employer will often assist you in finding a more permanent place to live. Additionally, Jobventure is well-connected in the cities where we offer jobs, so we can help you find an apartment or shared housing if needed.

How Do I Handle Administrative Tasks Like Taxes, Banking, and Health Insurance?

Your employer will take care of all necessary registrations in your new country. Typically, you’ll be automatically covered by health insurance through your job, and your employer will provide you with the details. Taxes will be deducted directly from your salary, and you can continue using your current bank account abroad. If you’d prefer to set up a local bank account, your employer can assist you with that process.

Will My Employment Contract Be With Jobventure or My Employer Abroad?

When you land your dream job abroad, your employment contract will be directly with your new employer overseas. Jobventure acts as a connector, linking you to your employer. While you’ll be officially employed by the company abroad, Jobventure remains available as your point of contact and support throughout your journey.

Remember, we’re your lifestyle agency, dedicated to ensuring you have an amazing experience wherever you are!

What Are the Living Costs Abroad?

It’s essential to have a clear idea of the living costs in your new location before you move. Rent is usually lower than in your home country, but you should also account for utilities like electricity, water, gas, and internet.

Other expenses to consider include public transportation, clothing, gym memberships, and leisure activities like dining out, movies, and entertainment. Jobventure will provide you with an up-to-date overview of the living costs in your destination country or city so you can plan and budget accordingly.

What If I Don’t Feel Comfortable There?

If you find, whether in the first few weeks or even after several months, that you’re unhappy with your new location, Jobventure is here to help! We’ll assist you in finding a new job with a different employer in another city or country that better suits your preferences.

Your happiness and success are our priorities!
